The Job:
Daasity is seeking a self-motivated team player, ready to embrace a fast paced, high-growth environment. The Technical Implementation Manager (TIM) will provide product recommendations and customizations, technical expertise for integrations, develop and code sound technical solutions, ensure proactive communication to merchants and internal staff, and manage customization requirements. The TIM drives projects to completion by anticipating the needs of the merchants and ensuring the alignment of the internal and external teams focused on the implementation.


Who Should Apply?
Daasity is looking for a developer with 1-3 years’ experience in business intelligence, reporting and SQL/ETL. The ideal candidate will have the capability to understand simple to complex business requirements and design a technical solution to meet those needs. It is critical that this candidate has a passion for data, analytics and e-commerce, and has strong organizational skills.


What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Study, learn and become a subject matter expert with our business, customers and their unique needs, our data and visualizations
  • Collaborate with merchant to collect business requirements, provide project scope and timeline for customizations
  • Assist with alignment on impact analysis for product and customization rollouts
  • Interface with Project Manager, Analysts, and other team members
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks and requests simultaneously and manage competing priorities
  • Perform impact assessment and implementation plans for product feature rollouts
  • Design architecture for tables and visualization needs
  • Perform extract, transform and load (ETL) via SQL
  • Design visualizations in reporting tools
  • Translate business needs into actionable requirements for ETL developers
  • Prepare merchant-facing verbiage regarding customization for inclusion in statements of work 
  • Participate in calls with prospective merchants during sales calls to speak to technical feasibility and scope (as needed)
  • Validation that data and visualizations meet use case and are accurate

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years’ experience in business intelligence and/or reporting and SQL/ETL
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication in business terms with external customers and technical level with internal colleagues
  • Capability to maintain the highest confidentiality around company proprietary information
  • Enjoyment of working with and communicating with people and solving problems
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts, understand and write SQL and visualizations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, leverage on-hand resources, and apply problem-solving skills
  • Experience collecting requirements from customers
  • Experience with Snowflake, other cloud databases or data modeling
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau or similar BI tool
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working at a software company
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Previous sales experience
  • Knowledge of agile software development
  • Knowledge of marketing or e-commerce (Shopify, Google Analytics, other platforms)
