Manager of Analytics / Business Intelligence:
Daasity is looking for a manager of analytics to lead a team of 10 or less ecommerce data analysts and technical account managers who specialize in customized SQL and reporting solutions for online brands.  Daasity is a fast-paced and growing SAAS company that provides an end-to-end, highly customizable ecommerce platform that enables our clients to make informed business decisions based on real data from disparate sources.

The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of ecommerce concepts, 5-8 years of data or marketing analytics on-the-job experience, at least two years proven experience directly managing a team of 8-10 analysts, acting as a mentor, point of escalation, partner for other teams, code reviewer and coach.  This role reports to the VP of Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, coach, mentor a team of data analysts and technical account managers who primarily work in SQL and Looker to build customized solutions for clients on our Professional level platform
  • Partner with other teams and our project manager to facilitate a smooth client journey for new clients
  • Become familiar with Daasity’s data pipeline, transformation code and visualizations
  • Serve as a point of escalation for client inquiries as it relates to custom solutions, solving problems and keeping client satisfaction and retention top of mind
  • Quickly and thoughtfully prioritize multiple competing requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Guide on development and design approaches and solutions
  • Peer review SQL code or reports
  • Enhance our internal team effectiveness through continuous improvement of processes and best practices
  • Facilitate change and help team navigate change
  • Guide and assist team members with professional development and career goals
  • Demonstrate empathy in interactions with team, peers and leadership
  • Interview candidates and provide input on hiring and staffing
  • Solve business-critical problems with your available toolset and expanding that toolset to take on more challenging and unique opportunities

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
  • 5-8+ years of data analyst, marketing analyst on the job experience
  • At least two years’ experience directly managing a team of 8-10 analysts
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL and business intelligence concepts and practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of data modeling and database concepts
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver outstanding results to clients
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team of analysts

  • Knowledge of Looker, Tableau

  • Understanding of business concepts and how data can be used to drive decision making and improve results
  • Knowledge of Shopify
  • Familiarity with the following: GitHub, Asana, Postman

Position Details:
  • Location:  Remote First (US & Canada)
  • Job Type:  Full Time (40 hour week)
