Daasity is looking for a BI developer with 2+ years of on-the-job experience using Tableau to develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
Daasity is looking for a BI developer with 2+ years of on-the-job experience using Tableau to develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
This position will play a key role in the organization helping Daasity develop and maintain our core Tableau and Looker environments. This individual will work closely with our Product and Platform teams to design the data model and dashboards/reports for stakeholders both internal and external to Daasity.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Merchant Success to understand requirements for visualization development
- Design, develop and deploy new Reports and Dashboards in Tableau and Looker
- Design and develop data models optimized for each BI Tool
- Maintain the current Tableau and Looker reporting environments
- Champion dashboard quality, consistency, usability and reliability by documenting and applying best practices to design and development with a strong focus on user experience.
- Stay current with new features in Tableau/Looker and utilization of the new features in the Daasity platform
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience managing a Tableau environment
- Demonstrated ability in Business Intelligence software development and maintenance
- Experienced knowledge of Tableau development, practices, techniques, and standards
- On the job experience with data modeling, data warehousing including standard methodologies and impact analysis
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Understanding Data Model and Relational Database concepts
- Understanding of ecommerce business concepts
- Attention to detail
- Problem solver
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience using Looker
